Miss Alexandra Davis ARAD RAD RTS Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management
Alexandra received her letters in classical ballet after completing Advanced 2 in 2007
She gained her registered teacher status with the Royal Academy of Dance in November 2008.
Last year in 2009 Alex choreographed the production of "The Little Mermaid". In the past she has choreographed the musicals “Mary Poppins”, “Peter Pan”, "Phantom of the Opera" and “Wicked and the Wizard of OZ”. Alex also choreographs the studio’s group, solo and duo routines.
At Rockhampton Eisteddfod in 2007 Alex received the 11 years and over aggregate for Jazz, Waltz, Classical and Demi, 13years and over aggregate Classical Ballet and Pointe solo, Open age demi and Jazz aggregate, Aggregate for Jazz Classical and Pointe. She also was awarded the Adjudicators Encouragement award for Over 13 Jazz and the highest points in Jazz solo Under 18years.
Injured after a fall in July 2007 Alex was unable to dance at Biloela but as teacher was happy to take home Champion Dance school of the Eisteddfod.
At Rockhampton Eisteddfod in 2008, Alex was awarded 'Most Promising Contemporary Dancer'.
